3rd Party Check for Lundin Mining’s 2011 Sustainability Report

The Lundin Mining Corporation recently completed its 2011 Sustainability Report. As part of this process, Prizma was commissioned to conduct a 3rd Party Check of the report. Prizma has assisted Lundin Mining for the last three reporting cycles. This included benchmarking of Lundin Mining's sustainability reporting.

I have written Sustainability reports for the City of Cape Town in South Africa and I also reviewed Sustainability reports for the Kumba Iron Ore Mines and Sasol Energy companies in South Africa. What I discovered was the challenges posed by the selected Indicators. May I know which indicators you had used? How was the corporate responsibility handled in this report. Last point is how did the activities and profits from these mining ventures directly affected and benefitted the immediate community members. This is also another challenge that is not addressed properly. Please revert to me.
