Training CROs from Mongolia, Turkey & Kyrgyzstan

Prizma was selected to provide a training course to the Community Relations Officers (CRO) and selected other staff from the Sustainability, Environment, Media and Government Relations Departments at Centerra Gold’s Kumtor gold mine in the Kyrgyz Republic. They will be joined by others involved in community relations issues at Centerra Gold’s Boroo operation in Mongolia and an exploration property in Turkey. What topics would you cover? 

Centerra Gold is the largest Western-based gold producer in Central Asia and has a number of other operations and exploration properties in the Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Turkey, Russia and China.

The focus of the training course will be on stakeholder engagement, communication and grievance mechanism. Prizma will deliver this course in collaboration with LEAD International, an NGO involved in leadership and sustainable development. - What topics would you cover in such a training course?

Previously, Prizma also assisted Kumtor with stakeholder engagement activities relating to the development of Kumtor's Biodiversity Management Strategy and Plan (see blog entry: )
