Prizma assisted Centerra Gold, a mid-tier and Canadian-based gold mining and exploration company, and Kumtor Gold, based in the Kyrgyz Republic, with their corporate responsibility and sustainability reporting efforts. The reports can be accessed here and here, respectively.  - Shortlink: http://wp.me/p27qSt-w1

Centerra's corporate responsibility report and Kumtor's environmental and sustainability report were aligned with the third generation (G3) sustainability reporting framework of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and its Metals and Mining Sector Supplement.

As part of this assignment, Prizma visited Centerra’s operations in Mongolia (Boroo mine, the Gatsuurt project). Prizma had already visited Centerra’s Kumtor gold mine in the Kyrgyz Republic to conduct a review of reports by Kyrgyz government sponsored commissions about Kumtor’s environmental performance. Prizma had also assisted Kumtor with the development of a Biodiversity Management Strategy and provided training to Centerra's Community Relations Officers from Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.

Prizma has supported other organizations with their GRI-based sustainability reporting efforts. These include Lucara Diamond Corp, ScottsMiracle-Gro, Lundin Mining Corp., Red Back Mining (now part of Kinross) and the Fulbright Academy. Prizma had also developed and delivered the first GRI-certified training courses in North America.
